Now that Google , FB wants to trap us and control every aspect of the Internet browsing, Is it even possible to break free.

Or creating new Internet is a unrealistic idea ?

Whats nice is that tor users are a paranoid bunch of fuckers. If its not plain fuckin html they want nothing to do with it. You can forget about your javascript, 3rd party cookies, external shit of any kind. All that gets left at the door.

I personally run Tails OS as a daily driver. Not only does it keep others safe, but it keeps me from tracking my own online presence.

Sadly, I can’t run tails. My laptop is one of the very few that have some sort of hardware issue with it and will not run. It just gives me a kernel panic.

That’s too bad, I’ve always liked Tails. Was lucky that it ran on a mid 2012 MacBook Pro, but the non-working hardware list is pretty large. Some people prefer Qubes and Whonix anyway

For good reason, modern technology is created to track you. Javascript is bloat, CSS is bloated too (basic CSS is enough, fuck mediaqueries and all that modern soyboy shit)

Don’t like it? Stick to your bloated internet then.

I agree. I think onion sites have the right idea, not using JavaScript and heavy CSS and all that crap. As long as the service isn’t under a denial of service attack, Tor and the Darknet actually can run just as well if not better than the clear net.
