Since the only option here is undetermined, users can’t select any other languages in their own settings.

This works fine for posts on this instance, but it means we can’t view posts on any other instance that have been tagged with any language other than undetermined, including English.

    Are you sure? I can see posts tagged with English, for example this one. In the instance settings I am also unable to select more than 1 language and it warns me that selecting one will hide most content.

      When linked directly to a post, I am able to view it. But that post (and any others tagged with a language) doesn’t show up for me on the https://monero.town/c/[email protected] page.

      If you ctrl-click you can select multiple languages in the dropdown.

          Nice, that seemed to work. Now if I select both Undetermined and English in my user settings, all the posts show up for me.
          Might want to make a post informing everyone here that they should update their language settings if they want to see all posts from other instances.

          I know it’s bad UX and totally doesn’t behave as expected. Hopefully the devs figure out a clearer way to manage languages.
