This is my 3rd or 4th shave with this brush, and they all have been rather rough. I guess I’m getting brushburn, and since it is a sythetic, this is probably not getting any better over time. Anyone of you knowing a way to soften up a synth?
AYLM is a bit overpriced IMO (depends also where you are based), but the hard base is an improvement over their previous soft base. Their scents are good though and original, in a not so classic way. They have great gourmands.
I find the SV base is one of the best around. Most of their scents are dupes AFAIK, but really flawless. Also, contrary to AYLM, you can be sure that there’s no menthol in it.
SV is the safe bet, AYLM if you feel adventurous.
Edit: Koké is quite something - bewildering first contact, but great once you get used to it.

How is Abbate y La Mantia? I’m thinking about getting a hard shaving soap like theirs or SV next time I make a purchase.
