Yeah I’m deep in stocks, getting my money to make me money. But crypto would fall into a similar trap as gold no? It doesn’t generate significant profit on its own, so it only appears to gain value as fiat depreciates. A good store of value, but not reliable for capital growth.
This is correct, it is good to have some gold and crypto but as a relatively small part of your wealth portfolio. Hopefully as the defi space matures into fully decentralized and permission-less we can begin to migrate more investments over.
