I am looking for an individual(s) with free time on their hands and who would be willing to guide and teach just a few entry level basics and help me configure gupaxx to be setup so I am happy with the way it does the donations. My main goal is to enable manual difficulty for my XMRig within gupaxx while XvB is enabled(not the preset XvB difficulty but my P2Pool XMRig difficulty).
A secondary much more difficult and significantly less of a priority goal would be learning to compile Gupaxx in rust to manually change a setting that won’t have a setting to change it added to the UI for quite some time and needs to be done to the source code and recompiled.
I understand my main goal/request potentially sounds trivial, but after reaching out to the XMRvsBeast matrix channel to try to help getting these things configured, I wasn’t able to get very much specific help and was told rtfm several times without a reference to what manual I should have been reading and I am at a loss. I could really use some help with this. I would prefer doing a voice call and screensharing on my end to make things easy and quick, but beggars can’t be choosers I suppose!
To anyone willing to do this I will be extremely grateful for the time you spend on this with me, I understand people are busy and won’t waste your time not listening or paying attention. This is important to me and I hope to meet a kind friend soon. If you are able to help me with out with my goals I could be inclined to offer some XMR as a thanks.
I really appreciate any help on this, thanks everyone!

Could you tell us why you want to adjust the difficulty? Do you want to give a bit less cpu resources to your miner?
One thing you can do is have a look at the gupax files and see if you find a JSON configuration file for xmrig. Then you can adapt it as you wish.
For your second goal, it’s actually achievable. Are you familiar with rust? If not, have a look at this page https://rust-lang.org/learn/get-started/
You will do the rust install, and then you only need to do
cargo buildandcargo run. I would suggest to follow a rust quickstart tutorial first. It won’t take long, and after that, what you need to do will be clearer.
