Just testing clients, any ideas? One available with notifications without google-services?

Thunder, though jerboa has more functionality by a nose, and if it wasn’t buggy for me, it might take top spot preference wise

Same here! Though I feel when Jerboa becomes usable again, it’ll be #1 for me, until then Wefwef rules

I just have my instance installed as a progressive web app with emails enabled for replies. It’s a little roundabout I suppose, but my email will give me a notification when I get something.

I like jerboa usually but using it less until lemmy.world updates. Using connect as a backup. I like they are both able to be not card style.

I feel like I’ve been on a different app every day due to the sheer speed of updates, but I’m currently on Connect

I’ve been using MemmyApp the most. It has been very good and it’s getting daily updates from the dev.

I do not know about clients without Google services. But, I use lemmy sites in pwa and jerboa, thunder and liftoff. They were alright.

Sync - whenever it launches. :) Was my favorite reddit one.

Out of the current options I have tried (Connect, Jerboa, Liftoff and Thunder) I think my favorite is Liftoff.

Jerboa isn’t compatible with my main instance, but I enjoyed using it as my first app before the others came out. Connect is seemingly slow to communicate between instances/communities for me and I am picky about some of its organizational features. Thunder does a decent job, probably close runner up to Liftoff. Going to keep trying each one as the apps and Lemmy itself develops.
