Although Walmart retreated from its diversity initiatives first, Target has been the focus of more concerted consumer boycotts. boycotts are like the fork in the dinner place setting of civil action; there’s also the spoon, knife, plate and cup each have its use.

And, as an individual, boycotts mean a meaningful decrease. We buy much less from Target, probably more than 90% less but there are a couple things we rely on, but can’t easily get elsewhere.

There is no ethical consumption under capitalism, so any reduction is meaningful.

        – and difficult; things are so much more unaffordable and difficult to get when you won’t use amazon or walmart.
