    The headline is correct though, because the US government gave Ford $9.2 Billion as part of a plan to combat china’s growth in EVs. How on earth could that be disingenuous?

      I simply read too much into the headline about ‘china’s EV dominance’

      China does have a plurality of battery production, but I argue Tesla is by far the biggest and most promising EV manufacturer, in terms of profit and pioneering.
