Making a meme insinuating that hexbear, whose mod team is majority trans, wants trans people not to vote, kill themselves, and bomb the west bank, and then going after Ada for not going along with it is definitely trolling.
Ada defended a fictional transphobic troll by confusing them for a real trans person twice. In a row. She’s confused. She can’t tell fiction from reality when she logs into Lemmy, and she makes moderation decisions based on her misunderstandings.
my read of the situation is that there is some unstated person who, even though they are not literally named “obvious_troll”, is similarly enough named that ada thought you were making an indirect attack on that person. again, i don’t have the context to know who that would be but i am willing to believe you’re all arguing at odds with each other.
(it is like if someone made a shitpost where the butt of the joke was [email protected])
Take a step back and ask yourself why you’re jumping through all these hoops to call the admin of an explicitly trans instance and implying the users of the biggest instance run by trans people transphobic.
Like you have to understand on some level that transphobes don’t spend years creating and aggressively maintaining a safe space for trans people.
Mind traveler is a troll who loves to start drama, ignore them
i have them usernoted as “is correct but unpopular”, they are abrasive but usually also earnest and not a troll

oh, it’s just part of the app I’m using (connect for lemmy / [email protected] )
Have yet to see them be anything but an argumentative troll. Especially when they’re on blahaj
they are argumentative for sure, but they are arguing in good faith (and their opinion is bad or badly stated)

I can’t say I’ve seen them argue in good faith. Usually goes like that after the person mind argues doesn’t agree.
that post seems okay to me? just badly phrased with an unnecessary level of twists that impede understanding
Their comments are the real give away. And they’re Already flooding here with them
