Donald Trump on Sunday proposed a new policy that many critics said is equivalent to legalizing “The Purge.”

Trump spoke at a rally in Pennsylvania, where he admitted that his attendees were “falling asleep” at one of his earlier rallies. Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign noted that, as Trump was still speaking at the swing-state event over the weekend, rallygoers placed directly behind the former president started to funnel out of the building.

One comment Trump made drew condemnation on social media, as well as numerous comparisons to The Purge, a film series based on a dystopian world in which the government makes all crimes legal for a 12-hour period.

As reported by Sebastian Smith, AFP Washington desk chief, “Trump in Erie, PA, says in US ‘the police aren’t allowed to do their job.’ To stop crime, you need ‘one really violent day.’ He says: ‘One rough hour and I mean real rough, the word would get out and it would end immediately.’”

The Purge has been central to Q Anon.

It was supposed to happen 4 years ago but trump lost.

Had he won, the trucker convoy would have been a part of it.

(I was witness to some chatter and had this directly communicated to me.)

Also, see: the turner diaries a book. A horrible violent racist book. There’s a theme throughout.

“The day of the gun and rope”

One of the organisers of the convoy in Canada loved using the phrase, “day of the rope” in reference to hanging our prime minister. (Also see “diagolon”)

The threepers/ 3 percenters ara group that believe it would take 3% of the population to bring about an ethno state.

They operate in Canada and the us and were VERY visible in Ottawa.

I don’t in understand how these people really think they are the only ones capable of violence.

What do they think “the opposing side” will do… lie flat and wait for a bullet to the head?

They expect that. They also believe that any violence committed by their opposition is 100% unprovoked and due to their monstrous irrational nature.

And if they aren’t white people they are automatically terrorists.

They fully expect to roll into a city in a fleet of lifted F250’s and drive a herd of fleeing vegans before them without having to lift a finger. The fact that liberals can and will defend their homes isn’t an idea that’s crossed their mind. The things that “country folks” believe about “city folks” would boggle the mind.

To defend a place, an invisible high power UV-Laser does more damage to a crowd than a M16 if you know what I mean… city folk are creative. You don’t have to worry about getting shot when the opposing force is practically blinded for life.

If this conflict happens, it will shape the life’s of many in ways they can’t imagine. Like really REALLY bad maming of thousands.

Years ago, I read the book Empire because I had been a fan of OSC and didn’t know yet what a dickhead he was. The book describes more or less exactly what you said, it was comical, but also kind of sad.

from what i’ve seen in most liberal circles, we are not prepared to defend our homes and loved ones from a roving band of rednecks. they’re not all old fat gravy seals. many of them are young, have lots of experience with firearms, and know how to coordinate.

You hang out in the wrong liberal circles, then. We may be pacifists but we are not helpless. I won’t throw the first punch to someone else but if they bring it to me you can be damn sure that I’m going to throw the last one, or die trying.

many of them are young, have lots of experience with firearms, and know how to coordinate.

So emulate them. A threat is on the horizon. Will you see it coming and lay down for it? Or will you prepare yourself? Your people may need you.

Time to gear up and match their abilities. Leveling the playing field with weapons banned for actual warfare would not be off limits for me in that situation. They attack, so theoretically preparation is key.

Coordinate the attack when automated laser turrents permanently blind their squad… (and no, goggles won’t help) because that would be easily in my ballpark of skill to build. (Eye Tracking is a basic function of Open CV, Galvos and UV Lasers are easily obtainable… I don’t need guns or ammo… theoretically speaking of course, I’m not even American and so glad that I won’t come into such a severe situation. But “liberals” like me are able to do this, remotely from a save distance… 100%, solar powered indefinitely the size of a shoebox)

Edit: Hello Homeland Security, no I have no intention of building this. The explanation is only for the sake of the argument.

i like your style. i used to take comfort in knowing that the left was far more tech savvy, which i felt was going to be key, but these days i’m not so sure.

              I wouldn’t say I’m left. Just… not a Nazi? And I don’t like Billionaires / Power Accumulations.

Much more interesting would be what side the military would pick. They decide. Everything else is just toys wielded by children. And as of now, they are not so fond of Trump as it seems.

this is correct, which is also an angle that would need to be played. the right has to look like the aggressor, or at least has to be tricked into making a move that the military would have to take action over.

The Turner Diaries are what inspired Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols to blow up the federal building in Oklahoma City.

It’s super dangerous. But at this point, the genie is way out of the bottle.

I read the Turner Diaries. There is not the slightest shred of preaching or ideology in the book. The book automatically assumes you are 100% on board with white supremacist ideology and also are willing to take action.

The book, fundamentally, is a call to action.

BTW the reason why the book doesn’t bother explaining it’s ideology or tell the reader why they should believe it is because the book was originally published in serial form in a far-right magazine in the 70s. The only people who read that magazine were already full blown Nazis, and thus did not need convincing.

That isn’t where the 3% number comes from. Also they were very up-their-own-ass, but were ultimately benign. Then they got turned into another terrorist mlitia by maga. So, while you are right in calling them out as the enemy of the people now, that still isn’t what 3% stands for.
