Before the genocide tankies were bootlicking putin and supporting the invasion of ukraine. They were becoming increasing irrelevant and unpopular.
But the genocide has given tankies plenty of legitimate and reasonable talking points. That’s why they’re so much louder, more visible, more coherent, etc.
If empire wants tankies to go away, then it should stop acting so incredibly evil as to make tankies seem reasonable.
