Why not both?

Easy decision in my mind. Just focusing on the benefits of Monero accomplishes both goals.

As you learn more about Monero, the deficiencies of others become apparent. Plus it’s a more positive message promoting Monero by building it up and making it better, rather than trying to increase its standing by tearing down the competition.
