Tried Sync today, it’s fancy in terms of design and customization; I can see the appeal. But I think I’ll stick with Connect because it’s straight forward and easy to use out of the box.
I think for me, I’ve used sync for reddit since like '15. So coming to lemmy with sync… Its like coming home. I’ve tried connect and liftoff though, and like both.
After using Sync for so long and having it set up just so other apps feel janky, through no fault of their own. I have it set up very information dense with amoled dark theme and colorful comment indents. I could kind of look over theme issues, but the interaction just felt off.
Connect was what I was using, though, and I preferred it over wefwef/Voyager which had a less wasteful feeling UI to me.
