Thanks to the limmit cross post bot i ran across this FT article and at the bottom is the author’s email address [email protected]. I sent the following email:

Hello,

I recently read your article about Binance delisting Monero. As a member of the community i see that *most of us are quite happy Monero is being delisted from centralized exchanges (CEX’s). I will put some links at the bottom to recent conversations for you. We in general are happy because we strongly believe that Binance and other CEX’s are playing fractional reserve games with Monero in order to suppress the price and make people feel “Monero doesn’t go anywhere, why bother buying it”. The community firmly believes that privacy is not a crime and with Monero being delisted from CEX’s we are forced further into our goals of decentralization to create decentralized exchanges (DEX’s). One working example for Bitcoin is Bisq.network and the Monero community is working on a version called Haveno. We also have LocalMonero, mining (which can be done on a normal computer), and buying/selling items and services to a worldwide market. We also have some few jobs that pay in Monero. Our goal is to build a circular economy completely seperate of the government and banking cabal.

As promised, here are some links.

I’m very unhappy it was delisted. It personally makes my life more difficult.

Also, no need to brigade someone’s email inbox. It will just cause them to write a inbox filter on your keywords.

Can I ask, in what way are you affected by the delisting?

Also writing one email isn’t brigading I would say.

One email isn’t no, but OP wants everyone to send a email in.

The delisting impacts offramps for nontechnical users, who just want to accept xmr and get fist easily. So it makes it harder to convince vendors to accept monero. I’ve had a vendor start refusing monero after this news.

I agree with surfer’s comments, especially the one about making it more valuable. The hidden fact is that the price does NOT reflect the VALUE at the moment. We will see more representative price discovery when CDBC’s track, trace, and programming is introduced later this year or next. I am delighted to have shaken many speculators and profit takers out of their positions. Once the lack of privacy hits them hard, they will scramble to get out of their fiat with or without CBDC’s, but I imagine CBDC’s will be a tipping point.
