Oh, the heartbreak of working 12 hour shifts. I missed the sign up for pre-beta testers for @syncforlemmy and I have a Pixel Fold and wanted to help make it the best app for foldable users! 😭🫣

I can accept a day or two of delay if I get a functional app for lemmy. I miss Sync so much…
I’ve been checking the Play Store twice a day since the alpha testing started. I can’t tell if Google sent it back for some reason, or if they’re just really, really slow to approve.
Discord said the pre-registration should be live in a day or two. And that was 3 days ago. I’m impatient. 😂

@humanplayer2 @d3Xt3r Lemmy said something about a sign up but it was limited and I was at work. (This post was playful and I’m sure the initial release is coming soon. Also, I believe as I read on LJD said it was a very limited alpha test just to address last minute bugs). Just keep an eye on the community/discord.
Galaxy Fold user here. I was aware of it from the very beginning, but when I tried signing up, the website didn’t work for me - there was no option to enter my email address. I tried multiple browsers, with the same result, so I gave up. :(
You had to message LJ to add your email to the approved tester list… It’s a pre-beta release with invitation only, not a public beta where everyone can apply. But it should be out soon anyway!
