Thats odd. I have had fantastic service in all but the middle of bumfuck nowhere for years. Keep in mind that bars dont natter as the higher the frequency band the weaker the signal will be but the faster it will likely also be due to wider channels. As an example, 1 bar of n41 often will far outdo 5 bars of n71 due to being a much wider channel. So while your phone may only show 1 bar that most likely isnt the whole story
