First I’ll tell you your link is broken. I found the audio you’re referencing though, just to have a look.

The description says he was asked to give an impromptu lecture, but in the recording he clearly says “the title of this talk was supposed to be…” Leading with dishonesty doesn’t lend credence to his words. Later, he says “all of you are here because you’re looking for something” So they’re not there because they’re in class?

This wasn’t an impromptu lecture at birbeck university in 2017. I also happen to know this because I’ve heard this before, well before 2017. I think the first time I heard this was some time around 2011 or 2013 on YouTube, in the Zeitgeist days.

All this stuff is ignoring the true nature of power. There’s nothing voluntary about it. We live the way the powerful want us to live because they’re powerful. They don’t need justifications and all that, maybe they did at one time and that’s where all the legalese comes from, but they don’t anymore because they’re powerful. You can’t just believe hard enough, you can’t get a cop to leave you alone by saying the right magic words.

Is there anything to it? I think yes, but not in the way the speaker says, and plenty of what’s said in this audio is bullshit. The secret bank account and legal fiction names stuff is absolutely retarded.

What can you do to get out of it? Withdraw your consent? And what, they’ll just send you on your merry way? No, see what happens to sovereign citizens when they try it. The only way out of it is to disobey. Pick your battles, disobey when you can, find ways to live life the way you want to and learn how to keep a secret. Try to understand what you are, what you want, and how to find it. You need to understand (not stand under, but comprehend) what power is, how it works or you’ll never figure out what’s going on. Some guy on odysee can’t do it for you, you have to figure it out for yourself.

There is some good perspective in what you wrote and also good advice. I have watched with great curiosity from a bit of distance those who think the magic tricks and words and incantations will work. They dont. Or if they do it is with no reproducible dependability.

What you stated about raw naked power is on point. What you believe and how you form your logic matters for you, yourself, and also for others you love and care about around you, or those acting in good faith. But to tyrants who would deign to own you and rule you? Entirely inconsequential.

Your advice to carve out what freedom and liberty you can while engaging in as few of the tyrants rigged games as possible seems one of the paths those of like mindset to ours may wish to at least explore taking amongst the others available. But to each their own.

The links works, the issue must be on your end.

Regardless of your opinion or philosophy on life the info is still valuable and will benefit anyone who takes a listen.

It benefited me, so your opinion is wrong. I also benefited from zeitgeist even though it was mostly crap info, or at least the conclusions were bunk.

Thanks for both of your perspectives, and for the link. More info is never bad. The reality is there is not a right or wrong path and life is not binary. What works for one of us may not for another. I’m happy to see you both ingesting the same material and forging different paths that benefit you individually as a result.

I learned to avoid getting entangled in the cult’s bureaucracy as much as possible.
