As long as you find an N-Number (US registered) aircraft in Switzerland, then you don’t need to bother with any Swiss pilot license regulations. You can just fly them with your US certificate.

It’s not clear to me if that includes EASA members that are non-EU, like Switzerland.
Bummer, I wasn’t aware of that change. Seems like it still would be OK for tourists/non-residents though.
