It worked till three hours ago, and then simply stopped. While i was digging and tryng to remember what the hell i used to configure network, i see that the signal is horrible. I saw it around 0/70 and -110, and when i finally manage to make it scan with iwctl , it jumps between some 30 and 100%.

Is it a dead antenna / faulty card and how do i start to troubleshoot it ? Which adapters are avalible that will work out of the box or with minimum pain?

    • Try different wifi networks and see if it happens there

    • Try different Linux distro and see if they’re affected too

    • For M.2 wifi adapters, Intel is generally the top choice.

Panda Wireless makes adapters that work out of the box for Linux. I’m not sure about every adapter they make, but I have a PAU09 that’s been working great ever since I bought it a few years ago.
