I mean idk, I always viewed the native Americans as the good guys when I was learning about it in school. The hamas condemnation might be because people are seeing what they did and having an emotional reaction to it, cause yeah some of that stuff is horrifying to see. The violence of the native Americans might be easier to view through a rational lense because the violence feels more distant

because people are seeing what they did and having an emotional reaction to it

Are they though? Are they really seeing what Hamas did or are they hearing Zionist propaganda and seeing manipulated and out of context images and videos about what supposedly happened? Are they in fact seeing what the IOF did to its own people in either a blind panic to stop a successful raid on predominantly military targets, or in a cynical and deliberate act of sacrificing civilians to create atrocity propaganda to justify the genocidal massacre they wished to inflict on Gaza? Do people really know what happened or do they just know what the media told them that Hamas did and does? And why is it that they have such an emotional response to the events of the one day on which Palestinian resistance actually hit back and not to the years and years of daily atrocities, humiliations, brutality, murders, apartheid and military occupation by the Israeli regime against the Palestinian people? Why is it so easy for them to see and hear that and be indifferent yet are so emotionally shook by when the victims of this crime against humanity retaliate?

I think it helps detatch ourselves from the violence of the natives as the only depictions we have are from the people that genocided them, and only in paintings and accounts from the genociders.

With modern war we have daily footage of the kills, its more easy to connect to reality; the telling thing for me is that hamas are ‘savages’ for defending there own land while black sites like ‘grab an arab’ prison where we tortured thousands of people for no good reason is overlooked.

And some people live their life In violence that’s pure and clean
