Works OK when using link to image.

    Image is either above 1 MB or you need to select a language. I recommend selecting both English and undetermined (hold control while selecting).

    This is supposed to be fixed with future versions of Lemmy but I’m waiting on a proper release version before upgrading.

      Thanks for the tip, it worked after selecting english. Would never try to upload a 1MB image, that is just wrong.

        Haha. Just be carefull, if you select only english, people who haven’t set their language to anything yet will potentially not see your posts/comments. I’ve currently set enlish, spanish, german, esperanto and undetermined for this instance but I’m not sure if those automatically become the default for new users or if it’s just undetermined.

          OK, looks like it is working now even with lang. not set. Did you do something, restart?

            Yes, I did restart the VPS for unrelated reasons (it felt kinda slow), Lemmy is very weird :P

              ah OK, I was seeing “server error” page frequently a few hours ago, it’s better now.

                Yeah, after the restart changes I had made to the host config were for some reason reverted, issue is resolved now :)
