I can’t upload all the pictures and videos because they’re too big apparently! But it was fucking awesome. At least 150,000 people were there marching for Palestine and SCREAMING the “Biden, Biden, you can’t hide, you’re funding a genocide” chants. It was genuinely so hopeful and refreshing. It was made very clear that this was only the beginning of more direct action that will have consequences and force the hand of our dictators of capital. We spray painted a McDonald’s window “GAZA” (in minecraft of course) and screamed “Fuck McDonald’s” because we’re boycotting Starbucks and McDonald’s. I met a few pretty relevant tiktokers and Karina Garcia, the PSL’s presidential candidate’s VP!

Overall a fucking wonderful experience and I’m going to bring this energy back home. Like I said this is only the beginning and it really is showing some serious dedication and revolutionary intent.

Check out answercoalition on Instagram to see the size of the crowd and some of the speeches. I’ll see if I can link pictures in the comments below.

I’ve been noticing more and more people are altering their stance on Hamas with more education. With all the blatant lying the mainstream media has been caught doing regarding Palestine, I’m noticing liberals actually starting to question the US’s Ukraine and China narratives now. It feels like another major wave of Americans are finally starting to wake up.

I talked with a few people not in the protest in DC who were curious about the situation and were uneducated on past or current events in occupied Palestine. Even they were aware of the hard Israel slant of the major US media stations and seemed to accept a lot of the reasons why a ceasefire is necessary and that a one secular democratic state solution is the only real option to avoid continued conflict. I even had one guy move from condemnation of Hamas to saying he wouldn’t say he condemns them anymore.

That’s obviously one person but that is huge, it just shows its possible and honestly is a sign to me of a larger turning of tide.

It seems like the contradictions are becoming too much even for the less engaged masses. They may not hold the ‘correct’ opinion but they’re more willing then ever to hear a countervailing opinion to the consent manufacturing machine

This next election between career criminal Trump and genocidal Biden is really going to reveal to a lot of Americans just how absurd the American electoral spectacle is. It’s been absurd in the recent few cycles, but this just feels different. Feels like decades might be about to happen in weeks.

I got trapped under that list. Maybe not that exact one but on the 4th there was one of those and it was so long I got stuck under it lol. That’s not funny it’s actually fucked up that it’s that long that I couldn’t escape from under it but I don’t know how else to deal with it

Attended a local protest and it was great. We had way more than we expected there, no counter-protestors, and so many people honking their support and waving flags as they drove by. A guy “thanked” me for protesting and said something about his cousin dying at “the music concert on the 7th,” and I’d never heard of that (and his sarcasm was so poor) I think I just kinda thanked him in confusion, lol. Other than that, there was apparently one guy who flipped us off and that was all the heckling we got. Everyone else was supportive or neutral.

It’s great to hear the national protest went so well, too!

      Fuck yes comrade!

Counter-protestors regarding this issue are cowards and don’t leave their house half the time. Why should they? They can be keyboard warriors and have the state do their bidding.

There always are a few finger flippers but fuck them they’re outnumbered as hell.

My small data collection from the protests I’ve been to (4 since October 7) is a very large pro-palestine bias. Tons more honks and supports than negative

Yeah, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by all of this. Considering how things had been going my entire life, I thought our countrymen would’ve largely gone back to supporting Israel as soon as the media told them to, but I’m glad to see I was wrong this time.

Obligatory do not upload media of you partaking in protests unless you take measures to redact any identifying material or else you’re doing the work of the cops for them and you will get people arrested.

It’s a tactic, ya know why the Media in America is so right leaning?

It’s because back in the 9/11 days, the War Mongering Right learned that all they had to do was accuse the media of having a “Liberal Bias”, and making “Liberal Media” a slur that no Media Company wanted to be accused of… So they created a new standard where no matter what bad is done, the victim was “Even more wrong or just as”, same with oppoisition parties, etc.

It’s why CNN was branded the “Clinton News Network” until they became Fox News 2.0 during 2016, because the tactic worked the first time.

Just claim you’re being silenced and “Just want fairness”, and people will shout your message from the rooftop… Unless you’re actually being silenced and just want fairness.

I wasn’t able to go, but I made sure to watch the entire BreakThrough News live stream. I could feel the immense energy of it all through the screen, and I hope to join in on physically being at some of these protests as soon as possible.

They’re saying maybe the largest pro palestine protest in US history, all organized in about 2 weeks.

Lots of good speakers there too, even Vijay Prashad.
