For years radios had been operated by means of pressing buttons and turning dials; then as the technology became more sophisticated the controls were made touch-sensitive–you merely had to brush the panels with your fingers; now all you had to do was wave your hand in the general direction of the components and hope. It saved a lot of muscular expenditure, of course, but meant that you had to sit infuriatingly still if you wanted to keep listening to the same program.
All I want is for the screen orientation to match my eyes orientation so that it doesn’t flip or require me to mess with a toggle when lying down while I read something.
Google Pixel has this but in the dark it just defaults to auto rotate mode so I can’t really use my phone in bed vertically… I wish they could let me choose whether it defaults to lock mode or auto mode.
When people will realize it will highlight the boobs the user is looking at while s/he’s reading a post, it will be too late /s
