He wanted knowledge to be free and accessible for everyone and killed himself after he was accused of things that could’ve brought him to prison for a very long time. He probably did these things which are kinda similar to things Sci-Hub does nowadays.

Honestly fuck Steve or Skete or Spez or whatever his fucking name is (I know it’s Steve, just venting), the guys’s a tool. What baffles me is how users of deceased third party apps (RIP Apollo) can continue using the site and supporting it after it’s been publicly made what a liar he is.
