@[email protected] I suspect I know the answer already, but is there any plan that the Pop! Shop will be replaced when the new Pop! Cosmic DE ISO is built? I know the current Pop! Shop was based on the Elementary package manager, so I’m hoping there are plans for a change.
Yes, it will eventually be rewritten to use Rust and iced.
This looks glorious! I know it’s Pop!_OS, but with all this functionality, Cosmic would actually live up to the name “Windows”, unlike the product actually named Windows. Cosmic is a cooler name anyway :)
As a single screen user, I am really happy to see all these features. Any chance there will be a way to pin arbitrary windows on top, hide the chrome etc? Most of the time the apps I want pinned already include such features, but sometimes they don’t and it’s annoying.
