I have this router in my business, so far not a fan. I wish T-Mobile would just give us a cellular modem that we can connect our own router to it. This one is supposed to be able to do that, but so far it is not working for me.
Unlike the Nokia trashcan, it only has 2 wifi networks, and you cannot have them both 2.4ghz and 5ghz. If you want a guest network and a primary network you have to pick one of them to be 2.4ghz and the other to be 5ghz.
I know what you mean. Just ditch the router functionality altogether and give a cellular modem that way we can connect whatever router we wish to the thing. That would open up the options dramatically.
This router is supposed to have that. There is an option to disable everything but so far it is not working as advertised.
