DayZ comes to mind. I love the game but it kind of just throws you in and says , “Hey there. Survive.”

Out of This World and Flashback. Always favorite old school cult classics.
Conan Exiles. I’ve had it in my library for ages but never gave it much thought. I’m having a lot of fun building my fortress and converting the locals to be my thralls.
Kena Bridge of Spirits. I’m so glad I tried this game. It’s quite good. The gameplay is similar to Horizon Zero Dawn and the story line touches the heart. I grabbed it free using PS plus premium.
Wake up, Smell the Ashes
DayZ can be fun. Building up a base and trying to survive together. A bit of a learning curve but a very social game. Especially if you find a good private PVE server.
GameSpy. Finding a server you clicked with. Meeting the other players that frequented there. Joining clans and chatting it up on the forums. So much creativity flowed making banners or avatars the showed off your stats from the server and such.
Not new bands but new to me. I managed to be a mild metalhead my whole life yet never listened to Iron Maiden. I started on their music a few months ago. I can’t believe I waited until I was in my forties to pick them up. Amazing guitar work and great vocals.
Half-Life 2. I have so many playthroughs that I lost count. At the time of release, the gameplay and physics were mind-blowing. The atmosphere over time got even better when Valve released bloom lighting. The water and sky were breath taking. I still go back and visit to this day.
I played ME1 and ME2 through so many times. The story was fantastic. The cast is rememberable. Tali Zorah will forever be my first video game crush.
Presearch. I run a node and get paid for running it. The searches are solid as well.
I find peace and beauty in the wilderness of DayZ
