I used to be chronically early to everything because I would set aside like an hour for a 15 minute drive and wonder why I had no time to do anything during the day. Now I’m a bit better at timing appointments and things just right, but I’m usually about 5 minutes late rather than 45 minutes early to things. Typically nobody cares if you are a little late, shit happens.

Absurd levels of snacking/grazing throughout the day, copius stimulants and writing/journaling seem to help, although some of those coping mechanisms are self destructive in a way. I need to replace snacking with some gym/martial arts or something so I can feel physically good as well as mentally and I’ll probably be good.

I’m not sure how to feel about the fact that I can’t look at an image anymore and not find some way to interpret the vague shapes as Saddam Hussein.

Realtors never proofread shit. This kind of fuckup happens all the time with houses in the millions listed for like $1,000.

You’d bet that if any of these listings were in any way considered binding that they would quadruple check their accuracy before submitting, but apparently it’s okay to be completely wrong about something you are advertising to potential clients and still get to keep your job afterwards.

I keep forgetting to comment this, but does anyone else remember RFK jr setting a September deadline for “curing Autism”? Like, I remember it being a big deal at the time because that’s not really how science works. Right wingers tried to contrast it with Biden claiming he would find a cure for cancer, but he didn’t set himself an arbitrary deadline to make that happen.

How suspicious is it that he nailed his deadline window for discovering the “cause” and now has a bogus cure in the chamber as well? Nevermind the fact that they don’t provide any actual evidence of any of these claims.

I see goof-ups like this all the time in the NMLS system. Someone thought they were inputting the price in the thousands and meant to list it at 4.7 million, or this is actually a rental and the monthly cost is $4,700 which still seems quite low for such a large property.

Back when I was house shopping I would gets automatic forwards from my agent about “new listings under your budget!” and they would be crazy low prices like $600 or something. Takes a few days for the listing agent to notice their own screw up and fix the listing.

There is an incorrect belief that autism is on the rise and that it must be caused by something, but in reality we are just getting better at identifying it and diagnosing people correctly. So it’s not that there is an autism epidemic, we’re just discovering that it’s less rare of a condition than previously assumed.

Trying to get my dog back to eating on a regular schedule. I think the prescribed antibiotics after her scuffle with a raccoon is/was messing with her digestion and she has been avoiding eating altogether. Was a little worried for a minute last week, because she skipped three meals in a row. We stopped giving her dog treats and let her get plenty of rest and she seems to have more of an appetite now.

It’s so funny owning a dog that is self-disciplined enough to resist scarfing food down. My last dog would eat anything you put in front of him. I never had to worry about administering medicine to him, because he wouldn’t even check the bowl to see what we gave him. Now I have a dog that’s a picky eater that can separate the yucky pills out of her food. It’s a learning process.

It wasn’t even that long ago that the news was reporting on Russian troops massing on the border for a “training exercise”. How the fuck do people forget that Russia was undeniably the aggressor in this conflict?
